Dear Sir/Madam,
Please allow me to express my thankfulness to the Minibus Driver: Mr. Cheng Wing Keung (Licenses: HW-**74, Mobile: 96****95) for his honesty and friendly help.
Here is my story. I lost my wallet when taking the Minibus from Central to University of Hong Kong around 10 o’clock in the morning on April 2nd, 2008. I put inside the wallet my ID card, staff card of Hong Kong U, two bank cards, one credit card, Octopus, and cash 662 HKD.
Mr. Cheng Wing Keung was the driver of the bus. When he found the wallet, he immediately tried to contact me. But there was no contact manner of me inside, so Mr. Cheng tried the phone numbers on the name cards I put in the wallet. Thank to his responsibility, one of my friends informed me and it was only two hours later when I got my wallet back without losing anything at the Hiking Wong Building minibus stop where Mr. Cheng drove by. I tried to thank him by sending some money, but he refused and drove away.
Surely, because of Mr. Cheng’s help, I was saved from a big trouble today. Moreover, I was deeply moved by Mr. Cheng’s honesty. Therefore, I want to express my appreciation to him through the Transportation Department who runs the public light bus business. I would like to thank the Transportation Department as well, since it helps to organize the whole public transportation services well in HKSAR and be able to recruit such highly qualified employees with honest and kindness as Mr. Cheng Wing Keung.
Best regards,
Shuda Li
